ABOUT US

First Graphic Services, Inc. is a full service graphics sign company located at 229 Garvon St. in Garland TX. Corporate headquarters along with manufacturing is situated together in an industrial building at the Garvon address.

The principles are Morris Cartwright and his wife Cindi. Morris, aka Mo is the President and Cindi is the CEO. Together they have been involved in the sign business together since 1984 in the D/FW area. Morris & Cindi's first start up company was Cartwright Signs & T-Shirt Printing. The Cartwright's sold that business in 1999 after 15 years of ownership.

First Graphic Services, Inc. was a start up company that began operations in June of 2002 with 2 principles. Terry Rainer and Mark Kitzman, both former employees of Cartwright Signs, LTD. The two began operations in Dallas TX with one employee who was also a former employee of Cartwright Signs, LTD.

In Dec. 2002 Terry and Mark invited Morris and Cindi to join into a strategic partnership with the 2 of them at First Graphic Services, Inc.
In July of 2003 both the Cartwright's bought the 2 principles out and this was the start of their new company.

In the first eighteen months of ownership the company grew from 1 employee to 28 employees and from a 1,500 S.F. building in Dallas to a 23,000 S.F. building in Garland that the Cartwright's owned through their property management company.

These companies owned by the Cartwright's were built from the ground floor up with sacrifice, hands on hard work, determination and the grace of God.
FGS, Inc. has proven itself to be a strong ally to it's customers. First by providing solutions and innovative ideas. First to provide to their marketing campaigns and strategies with a product and First to do this on time at an affordable price.

Morris, who started early on in the sign business by brokering signs, found out first hand what it was really like to buy signs in the D/FW market. This experience has helped to carry him into his second successful sign business along with his wife Cindi.
